2022 marks ten years in the mortgage and finance industry for me, after leaving the motor industry in 2012. I spent a significant part of my life involved in a family business, where I worked in all aspects of the business from, parts and service, new  and used vehicle sales, purchasing and valuing stock, I headed up our VW Commercial division, when VW commercial was in its infancy in Australia. I helped to re-establish Jaguar and Land Rover as prestige brands in our dealer group and built relationships with vehicle leasing clients, leasing companies and some big fleet purchasers who continue to purchase vehicles from our old firm.

 

Building long term relationships is one of the things worked on back then and continue to do now. I have always been focused on what solutions are best for my clients.

 

I have worn many different hats in my life, from being a cabinet maker and antique restorer to working on a prawn trawler, I spent many years in hospitality from washing dishes to silver service, just to name a few.

 

I have an understanding of how many things work in many different walks of life, especially how business’ run and the struggles that come from running a business and having a family.
